Looking Through Texture

In the distance

We steer from awkward memories

As we stir one another

through frenzied potents

hoping that time doesn’t make

us lose what’s cogent

with quiet quotes

we borrow from ages

the relevance of yesterday sages

understanding that today’s play

will help us understand what used to

lead us astray

As we hark from yesterday

with a prayer from tomorrow

so our futures can set firm

and our children will

never have to borrow

As we hark today

with a prayer from yesterday

so our past’s can set firm

and our children will

never live in sorrow

we are far enough to be close

About CerebralCausality

I am an Architect, Photographer, Poet, Writer. I'd say a bit of a renaissance man. I love and imbibe creativity of all forms as it is the essence of life itself. Take a walk down the myriad process that invigorates my mind, be still for a spell and let my words dwell in your subconscious allowing you to intellectually copulate with me.
